Lankhorst made the decision to open a stockpoint strategically positioned near the port of Texas City and the port of Houston, in order to provide enhanced customer service to the varied rope users along the southern coast of the USA. This is a big and important step for the industry because the coast of Texas has one of the largest areas of maritime activity in the world, serving as a major hub for cargo shipping & break bulk, as well as the Gulf of Mexico’s oil & gas industry.
